Greetings 2026 Residents,
Welcome to the SBP Neighborhood Golf League. For our new neighbors, this league is intended for individuals aged 55 and older and operates under a double elimination tournament structure. The primary objectives are to cultivate meaningful connections within our community, promote appreciation of the sport, and facilitate friendly competition throughout the year.
Our league utilizes seven local golf courses. Matches are arranged according to bracket placement, enabling participants and their opponents to coordinate mutually convenient play times. Each bracket’s matches must be completed within a 3–4-week period, depending on the total number of entrants. Last season, we had the pleasure of hosting 17 golfers, and we anticipate participation will exceed 30 players this year.
A nonrefundable fee of $25 is required to cover administrative costs, range balls for select matches, and to support our perpetual trophy, which is awarded annually to both the champion and the first runner-up. We are also actively pursuing preferential senior rates for members as well as access to the newly established Mystic Hills practice facility, located off East Cherokee Rd. Please note that participant numbers may affect our ability to negotiate additional discounts at courses and the driving range.

We encourage participation from both men and women. Handicaps will be determined based on course selection, prior performance, applicable GHIN handicaps, and frequency of play.

Upon confirmation of interests, an informational meeting will be scheduled prior to the league’s commencement to review format details, scheduling procedures, rules, etiquette expectations, and other pertinent information.
